To strengthen our resilience and equip ourselves to cope with life’s challenges, sign up for 12-hour Mental Health First Aid Standard Course taught by WACC counsellors who are certified MHFA trainers by the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong. The Course will enable participants to:
- Identify the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
- Provide someone with initial support until they are connected with appropriate professional help.
- Identify risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns
- Learn strategies to help someone in both crisis and noncrisis situations, and where to turn for help.
