
We are thrilled to share a fund – ADAHK: Artists with Disability Development Fund 2025, which is specifically designed to support and empower students with disabilities or Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is funded by Lee Hysan Foundation. It aims to empower students to explore their artistic abilities and achieve their goals. Details are as below:
About ADAHK
Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK) has been established as a non-profit and charitable organisation since 1986. The Association is a member of the Access/VSA International Network 2024 and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. With the vision of ‘Arts are for Everyone,’ ADAHK believes that everyone has the potential and talent for creativity and the right to enjoy the beauty and vitality of the arts. We are dedicated to providing holistic services to support the arts development amongst people with disabilities. We promote equal opportunities for people with disabilities to have access to and excel in the arts and advocate for an inclusive society through the arts.
About Artists with Disability Development Fund
Applicants can apply for the Fund for the following purposes:
- To take formal training in the arts field,
- To implement tailor made development plans, such as taking arts courses or perusing further education.
The grantees could engage in the followings during and upon completion of his/ her development plan:
- To exchange with professional art practitioners, educators and mentors, to expand and excel their experience in the arts,
- To contribute to the development of arts, promote social inclusion via cooperation between persons with disabilities and the public in educational and arts programmes.
