The Wellness and Counselling Centre is excited to invite you to our upcoming Positive Psychology: Character Strengths Workshop. This engaging and interactive session is designed to help you discover and harness your unique strengths, empowering you to achieve your personal and academic goals.
What are Character Strengths?
In the early 2000s, scientists discovered a common language of 24 character strengths that make up what’s best about our personality. Understanding and leveraging these strengths can lead to greater well-being, improved social relationships, better mental/emotional health, greater academic achievement and performance, and a higher sense of satisfaction in life.
What you will learn:
- Identify your core character strengths through a guided assessment
- Learn practical strategies to apply these strengths in your daily life
- Enhance your well-being and resilience by focusing on your strengths
