It was truly beyond my expectations to be selected as one of the Best uPals. Thank you all. It is my great honor to share my experience.

Looking back on my Junior uPals journey, the trainings taught me to actively listen with empathy, the workshops helped me appreciate my body, and the adventure camp created unforgettable memories with new friends. But what stood out the most was the service project. I initially joined the promotion team to practice social media design, but I gained so much more. The biggest takeaway was interpersonal communication skills. I learned how to design an attractive project by revising the proposal again and again; I practiced how to respond to unexpected situations and communicate with people on behalf of the whole team. In addition, as a team leader, I got to know how to function as a bridge among everyone.

The time and efforts spent on uPals have been incredibly meaningful. I want to give credit to all the counselors who always backed us up and, of course, my fellow friends who have been very friendly and supportive. For the new cohort of Junior uPals, I hope you will have a great time throughout the journey, and I truly believe that you’ll become a better self here. Thank you.
