uPals Wellness Ambassador
Sharing is Caring! The uPals Wellness Ambassador Scheme, launched in January 2024, has brought students opportunities to exchange experiences and strengthen bonds between CUHK and CUHK (Shenzhen) students. This initiative empowers students to spread a culture of care and wellness, while also fostering personal growth and honing their leadership skills. A trip to Shenzhen and workshops will be organized to break geographical boundaries and extend friendship and care to peers in both places.
Eligibility
- Full-time students of CUHK
- Graduates of u Pals Wellness Promotion Team / uBuddies Peer Counselling Network / uShine SEN
Service Team or uPals 2025 / uBuddies 2025 / uShine 2025 who completed training requirements
and are currently taking part in service projects; - Responsible, proactive, confident and enthusiastic in helping and caring about others
- Knowledge of Putonghua will be an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage with the CUHK(SZ) delegation and participate in a Wellness Neon Light Workshop alongside their student group to foster cross campus interaction
- Attend a comprehensive half-day leather craft training. Upon completion, uPals Wellness Ambassador s will serve as student instructors, leading a 1.5 2 hours Leather Cr aft Workshop in
Putonghua for CUHK (SZ) students during the 2 days 1 night visit to Shenzhen. - uPals Wellness Ambassadors will also share their mental health promotion experiences in Hong Kong during the trip to Shenzhen.
Training and Activities
- Wellness Neon Light Workshop with Y∞UTH from CUHK(SZ)
- Leather Craft Workshop in CUHK
- Trip to Shenzhen (2 days 1 night)
Qualifications
Upon completion of the training course and activities, uPals Wellness Ambassadors will receive:
- CUHK uPals Wellness Ambassador Certificate
- The qualification obtained will be recorded in the Student Development Portfolio (SDP)
