Warm greetings! We’re excited to share an job opportunity for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). CareER is now recruiting interested applicants The Hong Kong Jockey Club – Charities Officer (Healthy Community / Positive Ageing & Elderly Care), a 6-month placement.

 

Here are the details:

Charities Officer (Healthy Community / Positive Ageing & Elderly Care)

The job holder will support the Senior Manager/Manager in planning, developing, and implementing Trust-funded projects, as well as assist in monitoring other grant-making initiatives under the Trust’s priority areas.

Duration 6-month contract
Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Manager/ Manager to oversee Trust-funded project(s), including but not limited to assisting the development of project plan including the tasks, deliverables, schedules and resources required, and maintain a repository of documentation for project governance and audit purposes.
  • Support other grant-making functions such as assessing donation applications’ merits, budget, outputs and outcomes.
  • Conduct research on social issues and community needs such as literature review, policy analysis and data analysis.
  • Handle other project management and administrative matters such as budget control, database maintenance, impact measurement, correspondence handling, arrangement of meetings and filing.
  • Carry out other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Secondary school graduate or equivalent
  • Commitment in diversity and inclusion
  • Passion, strong drive and career interest in charity work
  • Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills will be an advantage
