SEN Service

The SEN Service of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), CUHK is responsible for coordinating an array of support services for full-time undergraduates and postgraduates with special educational needs (SEN).

SEN Service Registration

Eligible students with special educational needs (SEN) are highly encouraged to self-report their SEN to the university through registration with the SEN Service of Office of Student Affairs after their admission to allow timely arrangement of necessary support services.

1. Eligibility

All full-time undergraduates/postgraduates with permanent disabilities or SEN; full-time postgraduates with permanent disabilities or SEN may also apply directly with their respective departments for special lecture/examination arrangements if necessary.

2. Registration Procedure, Guidelines and Requirements

Coordinated by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) SEN Service (SENS), the Rehabus service primarily aims at facilitating students and staff with special needs in attending classes, commuting for work-related purposes, and/or participating university-related activities such as talks and extra-curricular activities organised by the University or student societies.

For purposes other than the abovementioned, students and staff are also encouraged to take the CUHK Shuttle School Bus as far as possible. Rehabus operates within the campus on a pre-booked basis and is free of charge. Please refer to website for details or email to sens@cuhk.edu.hk for enquiries.

The following orientation activities are available for students registered with the SEN Service, providing a great opportunity to meet fellow students, connect with our support team, and familiarise yourself with campus resources.
